Nineteen rings, one sender: the Amazon series "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" has been telling the prequel to Tolkien's famous trilogy since 2022 – set in the Second Age, millennia before Frodo and Gandalf. Developed by showrunners J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay, the series follows, among others, a young, uncompromising Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), the smith Celebrimbor, and a Sauron who changes his face as often as others change their minds.
